Description / Appearance

Cain is a slightly taller than average man with black curly hair down to his shoulders. He has lean physique and wears a chestplate, large metal shoulder plates and bracers all of which have intricate designs carved into them. He has a sheath attached to a belt around his lower torso from which hangs the pelt of a direwolf covering his legs.

Personality Traits

Cain is rather non-confrontational, but has no problem fighting back if he’s pushed far enough

Cain has rather relaxed body language and usually rolls a coin between his fingers when he is not occupied with something else. Also seems to be more relaxed when he is not the centre of attention and usually sticks to the side-lines in social situations.

Background

Taman was born to a recently settled family of adventurers, his father Arric Darrow and his mother Nuala Lysanthir. Things were fine in the first few years and Taman got 2 younger siblings Torian and Mirelle. Arric wanted Taman to follow his footsteps even though Taman clearly showed no such aptitude. after years of trying Arric started to become violent and damaged Taman and his siblings physically and emotionally. Taman often took the blame for his siblings willingly so that they would be spared of their fathers wrath. Taman’s mother Nuala tried stopping these outbursts from Arric but eventually gave up. Taman was sent to a school for adventurers to “toughen up” in his fathers words, but he did not do well and eventually dropped out. while there he did meet Esme and they grew quite close. Arric who had used his connections from his time of adventurer to get Taman into the school felt it as a slight against him and beat Taman to an inch of his life and sent him to the prison colony on the northern colony at the pleas of Nuala.

Taman knew he would not survive long on the dangerous expeditions the colony went on but was taken in by a smaller group of people led by Cain. Cain helped Taman get back on his feet and trained him. The group went on many successful expeditions and eventually found their way to a dungeon that held great treasure that would be enough to buy their freedom from the colony. In the dungeon they found a Beholder and the party started falling one by one. The fight kept going and was relatively even but Taman couldn’t take the pressure and stole the artefact. He left them there to fight the Beholder while he ran and bought his freedom. His mental state severely deteriorated when he realized what he had done and soon after his ship was attacked by the ferrymen. When Cain awoke he had been taken captive and found himself bound with several other individuals.

Sanctuary	Good friend	Cain originally viewed sanctuary as weird and at some points still does, but she has grown on him as a friend. He has come to rely on her during fights and views her as a great asset to the group.

Esme	Girlfriend (Dommy Mommy)	having met many years ago at an adventuring school they quickly grew to enjoy each others company. Taman was sent away and lost himself through the events of his time in the expeditionary prison camp and his time with the group. Esme eventually called for his aid and he came back and she helped him become who he truly is.
kani	Good friend	Taman initially felt like kani was very abrasive and violent, but towards the end of their time in the copper covenant he grew to trust her and told her about his real identity. they did have a fallout right after which Taman blamed himself for. Now that he has returned and Kani is different he feels like they both have changed for the better.
